Today’s write up is focusing on a well known Facebook tipster – @TheBadManTipster

In all honesty, I don’t really know where to start. I will, however, start as I mean to go on. Avoid The Bad Man Tipster at all costs, it’s as simple as that.

What are we looking at then? Here we have an affiliated tipster who almost exclusively focuses on £25-£1000 challenges. It’s not the greatest of starts.

The Bad Man Tipster is a classic example of someone taking an advantage of his mate in order to build an audience. In case you didn’t know, he’s ‘friends’ with that comedian, Dapper Laughs. Oh and boy does he make sure you are aware of that, take a look below at what his Facebook bio says.

Facebook – “I’M BACK! Largest tipster on Facebook, Dappers Laughs oldest and wisest friend”

Not to mention that his profile picture is him and Dapper Laughs holding some money, and his cover photo is the two of them sharing a drink.

What we’re seeing here is that The Bad Man Tipster has noticed an opportunity to make some money off the back of one of his friends, and that is through the wonderful world of affiliation.

He knows what he’s doing, he is reaching out to punters who for the most part are desperate. He’s preying on the weaknesses of a huge majority of gamblers, by setting unrealistic goals and making people believe that he will help them get there. The £25-£1000 challenge, alongside his confidence, will make people believe that maybe this time they can spin up a small amount into a substantial figure. It’s unacceptable, and quite frankly, both him and ‘Dapper Laughs’ should be truly ashamed of themselves. Dapper has a huge following, and a load of his followers probably know nothing about betting, so they put their faith in someone they trust. If only they knew the truth, The Bad Man Tipster is making a fortune off these people by giving them misleading information. Take a look at a screenshot from his Facebook page, below.

That’s right, apparently to take part in his challenge you need a Bet365 account! How convenient that this should be followed by one of his affiliate links. It’s utter nonsense, and he is misleading an audience that simply doesn’t know. You only have to look through the comments on his tips to see that some people have never placed a bet before, they’re just doing what he says.

And this is no exaggeration, they are shocking.

Taking a scroll through his timeline, you’ll see that recently he actually completed a £25-£1000 challenge, so, on the face of things, maybe you think he might do it again, or at least you would assume he is in profit after a big win like this?

You would be wrong.

Before this, I have been advised The Bad Man Tipster lost 57 of these challenges in a row. Meaning if people were to follow him using the recommended stakes, they would have lost £1,425 over that period. Take a look back at that figure if you have to, for some, this is a completely life-changing amount to lose, and I am almost certain that there are some people that have done.

The next part, the tips that are posted are always at crazy short odds, we’re talking odds of 1/6. Notice how he never mentions the odds when each tip is placed, though. He is doing this for a reason, it’s a thought out strategy to try and make himself look better. Let’s be honest, a lot of bets are going to land at a price like this, the issue is, he won’t be recording these winners at 1/6, not a hope in hell. Instead, underneath his bets he says:

“I recommend placing the bet between odds of 1.25 (1/4) and 1.50 (1/2). Nobody is forcing you to place the bet and you can decide yourself when to place the bet.”

Absolutely, utterly ridiculous. What a ridiculous statement, firstly, to even bet between the odds of 1.25 and 1.50, and next, to tell people it’s up to them when to place the bet. Who is supposed to be the tipster here???

But you get the point, stupid bets, stupid prices, arguably worse celebrations.

Just look at his reaction when he wins one of these bets.

I mean, come on. I don’t have much to say about this, but put it this way, the above is after a bet landed between odds of 1/4 and 1/2…GET A GRIP

Some Final Thoughts

I could write all day about this, but I’ll be honest with you, this tipster angers me to a new level. He is a complete disgrace, ripping off uninformed individuals giving them the false hope of turning a small amount of money into 1K, all so he can profit off them by getting their sign-ups to Bet365. He’s not in it for the punter, not at all. He bets to appease the addicts, the people who are always after the next bet and want something to cheer about. Worst of all, it’s supported by a so called celebrity. Dapper Laughs needs to keep that small bit of dignity that he has left and disconnect himself with this page. He is endorsing a rip off merchant and letting this tipster use his name for his own benefit. It’s not acceptable, not in the slightest, and something needs to be done about it.

Don’t let him win. People need to know what they are signing themselves up to, and people like this need to be exterminated from the betting community. He is ripping it apart, turning people away from what can be a great place. He’s giving people false hope about what betting can bring you, helping them lose their hard earned money week in, week out. This can only cause problems, very serious long term problems at that.

I thank you all for taking the time to read this article. The more people that see it, the better.

All the best,

Casual Gambler
