Despite there being plenty to bet on over the weekend, I decided to limit the number of tipsters I follow and keep it relatively simple

I think I can safely say that we’ve all been there. With a large number of betting opportunities available, it’s very easy to get carried away and bet on far too much over the weekend. To avoid that from happening, I didn’t follow as many tipsters as I did during the week. Without hesitation, let’s get straight in with how I got on.

Saturday

Saturday’s are always a busy day for me, so I kept it pretty simple by avoiding in-plays completely, and I ended up only backing greyhounds and horses for the entire day, using only two tipsters, these were @H4C_Tips and @NicksPicks83

There was only one bet that I backed from @H4C_Tips, which was a shame as he did have a profitable day, however, the horse I backed, unfortunately, couldn’t make it at 15/2, and therefore came out as a £2 loss. I really like what this tipster is doing. He keeps all tips free and asks that if any followers find themselves winning, that they donate a portion of their winnings to the fantastic Make-A-Wish foundation. I certainly will be donating this month!

The rest of my bets for the day came from @NicksPicks83, where I backed a total of 4 tips for the day. These consisted of his main tips and system bets. two out of the four tips won, priced at 9/4 and 7/2. I had £4 on the 9/4 winner, and £2 on the 7/2. This meant I ended the day £8.50 in profit, which I was pretty pleased with.

Saturday P/L: +£8.50

Overall Bankroll: £188.84

Sunday

Today was another day where I thought it would be best to keep the bets low, and I ended up following 4 different tipsters, using one of their tips each. I wouldn’t say it was exactly planned to go this way, but I never really intended on making it a big betting day. I’ll get straight into who I followed.

Firstly, I backed a suggestion from the ever-reliable @Josh_HW, who was backing Coolking to win at 12/1. At one stage it was looking very promising, with the price in-play making us the favourite. Unfortunately, he didn’t quite stay and couldn’t bag us an early victory, leaving us £2 down to start.

Next up, @NicksPicks83 posted one main tip for the day, at a price of evens. This price was available with limited bookmakers, but thankfully I managed to get on quickly with PaddyPower. The pick took a hit around the first bend and couldn’t find its way back into the race. I staked £4 here, putting the total loss at £6 for the day.

Following on from this, I have made money before from @TGT_Tips and have seen how profitable he can be with his in-play betting. He fancied goals in the second half of the Barcelona game and tipped over 3.5 goals at 5/4. This just fell short when the game ended 3-0, leading to a £2 loss.

The final bet came from @ryanscfcx, who showed a lot of confidence in Clondaw Westie to win at Plumpton, priced at 4/1. This horse followed the trend of the day and couldn’t win, which lead to another £2 loss and a £10 total for the day.

Sunday P/L: –£10

Overall Bankroll: £178.84

It was a shame that after a solid enough Saturday that Sunday couldn’t produce something similar. We ended with a very small loss for the weekend, and I look forward to seeing what this week can bring! I’d like to say thank you to all of the tipsters who have offered me to follow their tips. It’s great to see so many with confidence in what they are doing.
